Hope and Amy leave in 5 days. We will fly from Indianapolis to Atlanta, and then take a 16 hour flight through Dakar, Senegal to Johannesburg. There we will spend the night and then take a short flight to Gaborone the next morning. Here is what Hope is thinking about our trip:
"I am excited about all the animals that are going to be there. I am excited to see what kind of people are going to be in my school. I am excited to fly in the plane and see all the different parts of the world we are going to fly over. I am excited to see the Atlantic Ocean. That is what I am thinking about!"

Wahoo! And, you're off. I'm so happy that you're keeping this blog and that we'll be able to keep up with your amazing adventures. Let me know if you need anything from my end while you're there, Amy. And, tell our sweet Goddaughter that we will be praying she has a great 10 months - that the whole family has a wonderful, life changing experience.
Safe travels, friend.
